Dacia Biletnikoff

Dacia Biletnikoff was born and raised in California, USA. She started her formal training under Jen Bradford and Kelly Archer in Modern dance techniques, at Northern California Dance Conservatory. Upon deciding to focus if Modern Dance and Choreography as a career, she attended London Contemporary Dance School, The Place.

She studied there for three years and received her Bachelors of Arts in Contemporary Dance with First Class Honours. During her time at The Place, she studied under dancers and choreographers from Random Dance Company, Batsheva Dance Company, DV8 Physical Theatre, Scottish dance Theatre, and the Merce Cunningham Dance Company. After graduation she continued choreography and performance in Bologna, Italy at Leggere Strutture, directed by Brigel Gjoka, where she studied with dancers from the William Forsythe Company and Wim Vandekeybus/ Ultima Vez. From there, she accepted an apprenticeship with Carabdanza in Madrid, Spain, performing for nine months.

She returned to California in 2015, and has since worked and performed with Ballet Novita, Nhan Ho Project, and Chadash Contemporary Dance. Currently, she is performing as a soloist within the San Francisco Bay Area as well as choreographing and teaching throughout California.
