CONSERVATORY DIVISION AUDITIONS
2024 Audition Details:
The Conservatory Division Audition is required for all current Conservatory Division members and anyone wishing to join the Conservatory Divisions. The Conservatory Division Audition will be used to assess current and new students for level placement for the 2024-25 season.
The schedule for the NCDC Conservatory Division auditions is below. Please locate the date and time for the age group of the genres that you would like to audition for.
- Please fill out an Audition Application form prior to attending the audition.
- Please select which genre(s) you are auditioning for when you fill out the form.
- Only one form needs to be filled out regardless of the number of genres.
- Each genre will require a separate $20 audition fee. You will be able to pay once you have submitted the application.
- Please make sure you select the correct number of genres once you have submitted the application.
Conservatory Division Ballet and Contemporary
Friday, May 3rd, 2024
Ages 6-8 yrs: 4:30-5:30 PM
Ages 9-10 yrs: 5:30-6:30 PM
Saturday, May 4th, 2024
Ages 11-13 yrs: 1:00 – 3:30 PM
Ages 14+ yrs or current UCD: 4:00-7:00 PM
Please arrive with your hair in a bun and in ballet attire with ballet shoes & pointe shoes if applicable.
Audition Fee: $20.00
Conservatory Division Contemporary Only*
Saturday, May 4th, 2024
Ages 13+ yrs or current Collective: 5:45-7:00 PM
Please arrive with your hair in a bun and in dance attire with ballet shoes and socks.
Audition Fee: $20.00
Students who wish to audition for just contemporary and not ballet may attend the Contemporary Audition at 1:45
Conservatory Division Tap
Saturday, May 4th, 2024
Ages 9-11 yrs: 9:30 – 10:30 AM
Ages 12+ yrs: 10:30 – 11:30 AM
Ages 6-8 yrs: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Please arrive in a leotard, dance shorts, & tap shoes.
Audition Fee: $20.00
Conservatory Division Hip Hop
Friday, May 3rd, 2024
Ages 11-13 yrs: 4:30-5:30 PM
Ages 14+ yrs: 5:30-6:30 PM
Ages 7-10 yrs: 6:30-7:30 PM
Please arrive in hip-hop attire and shoes.
