NCDC 2021-22 COVID Health and Safety Guidelines

Effective August 16, 2021

Due to the changing circumstances around COVID, the updated CDC guidelines, and the current California policies concerning schools, NCDC is updating its COVID guidelines for our return on August 16th as follows:

  • All students will be required to wear masks anytime they are inside NCDC, including all hallways and lounge areas. The only exceptions to this requirement are the Tiny Tot and Ballet/Tap Combo classes; for these students, masking is optional but strongly recommended.
  • All faculty and staff will be wearing masks while inside the studio.
  • Zoom will be made available to all students who wish to take class remotely at any time; and NCDC recommends, requests, and encourages remote attendance for any student exhibiting any symptoms and/or generally not feeling well.
  • Student lounges will be open and available before, between, and after classes.
  • Barres and surfaces will be sanitized throughout the day.
  • HEPA filters will continue to be used in all studios.

NCDC will continue to monitor the guidance around COVID and update these measures accordingly as warranted.  Our goal will continue to be to keep students and faculty healthy and safe and to keep the studio open so our students can continue dancing.
