Trainee Pre-Professional Ambassadors
Courtney Courtney
Courtney is a 13 year old with a love for dance. Courtney began dancing at the age of 3, with ballet and tap. She began the ambassador program in 2006. It is her second year in the Trainee division training in ballet, pointe, modern, contemporary jazz, and tap. Courtney wants to continue her training to dance at the college and professional level. Courtney loves to travel. Dance has given her the opportunity to dance across the country earning college scholarship money. As the 2009, Grand Celebrity USA, it is Courtney's goal to share her passion of dance to special needs children. The best reward for all of Courtney's dance training is sharing her talent to make another child smile.

Katie Katie
I am 13 years old and have been dancing since the age of 5. I have been at NCDC since it opened in 2006 and absolutely love everything about it. Along with NCDC, I have performed with the Sacramento Ballet in their production of the Nutcracker for four years. My favorite styles of dance are modern, ballet, and tap. I love the movement and artistry of modern, the structure, precision, and grace of ballet, and the character of tap. Dance is my passion in life and I hope to pursue it throughout college and hopefully become a professional dancer.

Kelsey Kelsey
I began dancing at 6 years old. During the summer of 2006, I participated in the NCDC summer intensive and at that time I decided to transfer to NCDC. I'm very happy with my decision, as I feel that I have grown so much as a dancer. NCDC has given me the opportunity to dance in many different venues like our small black box theater, dance competitions, community events, Long Beach State, on a cruise ship and my favorite, the Mondavi Center. I am so fortunate to have wonderful teachers like Mr. C and Ms. Jen. I hope to be accepted into a college dance program and someday become a professional dancer.

Tessa Tessa
Tessa is 12 years old and has been enjoying dancing for the past 9 years. She loves all the different genres of dance, but her passion is ballet because she likes the form and cultural discipline required. She aspires to become a professional ballet dancer some day.
